Me and Kiddie: Kiddie Face Details

We are back home after a long vacation and I’m still motivated by this painting. Today I paint fur.

The thing I keep wanting to show most in this painting is texture. I feel that in order to show the different textures throughout the scene I need paint really detailed. So for this session as I’m working on the fur over Kiddie’s face I’m using a small brush and I’m getting very detailed. This little guy means a lot to me so I want to get it right.
