Thanks to Andrew Wyeth I’m paying attention to the smallest details even in the background.
I’m still thinking a lot about texture as I paint and while I’m trying to get the color of the background correct for this painting I’m also experimenting with way to create the texture that I want. Although very subtle, I think the texture is making a huge difference.
