Another finished figure painting. I had high hopes for this painting but I’m not so impressed with the finished product.
I wanted to do so much with this painting but I feel like I’m still learning how to correctly manipulate layers of paint. I wanted to have a very prominent translucent skin effect over the whole painting but I just couldn’t make it happen.

I sometimes can’t believe I married you. You are amazing, and your art is often breath-taking. after looking through your old paintings, I am even that much more impressed with your work today.
