The next Fandom Fitness character is one of my lifetime favorites, Gandalf.
I wasn’t a person that read until as a freshman in high school I read The Hobbit. From then on I couldn’t get enough of fantasy novels.
So I plan on doing my best with the drawing of Gandalf. But, unfortunately it hasn’t started well. I’m not worried though, I’m okay with drawing this wizard many times.

I Also did some gestures and contours today, as well as worked on some new enhancements to my website.
What went well?
Many different art projects going at the moment and I’ve worked a bit on each.
What didn’t go so well?
I’m going to have to start the drawing of Gandalf again. I’ve made him a bit too large for the paper I think. And I want to have more space for his staff.
What did I learn and/or how can I do better?
The better I get at contours and gesture the worse they look. It’s all about describing the essence of the model in gestures and feeling the contours without looking, not about making a good looking image. All of the gestures go right into the recycle bin anyway, and the contours are soon to follow.
