Fundamentals: Visiting

The in-laws are in town and I spent my normal art time visiting, so I’m drawing later in the day.

I normally don’t like drawing so late in the day. I’m actually in bed by 8pm but tonight I’m using the draw this videos on YouTube to get some gestures in so I can get to bed before 10pm. With days like this where I’m so busy I’m OK with the drawings not being the best of my ability I just fall back on the main purpose of the daily habit of just drawing.

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."

  1. Yeah, busy days are nice but then I feel stressed out to get my writing done. This is probably why I will never exceed my minimum word count beyond 500. On days when we have tons of things going on in our lives, it’s nice to not stress about having to finish a work of art, or having to write 1000 words. We can fall back onto our basics and still make progress.
