Form in Repose: Session 9

I’ve started from the beginning again adding a semi opaque glaze over all the work I’ve done.

The glaze is smoothing out the texture over the figure and giving a really nice translucency to the skin.

I’ve realized that the background texture is much too distracting so the next session I will probably spend most of the time getting the background in order. I would hate for the background to detract from all my hard work on the figure. So the goal here is to make the background disappear as much as possible.
