First Layer Done

This painting is taking even longer than I previously thought but I have the first layer done.

At this point it looks really rough, but there are parts of the painting that hint at really good possibilities.

The next few sessions I will most likely progress even slower. Here is where I need to get every stroke correct. So my focus needs to be spot on. I’m a bit nervous but I think I can pull it off.
