All kinds of figure study drawing today. The female gestures went well, but the male gestures fell apart quickly. I need to do more work with a male figure. I’m also trying to commit the landmarks of the body to memory along with the superficial muscles.

Starting off the figure study with a few gesture drawings.
And here is even more gesture drawings. These were three minute gestures.
Here I did a longer figure drawing, I really don’t like the shading of the figure here. At some point I will put down the figure study and take up the shading study. I feel like I know value really well, or how to see it, but putting the value down in very smooth and good looking transitions needs some work.

Here is the anatomy figure study. I went through and labeled all of the major landmarks where bone is closest to the surface.
