There is something calming about the slow progress of these figure paintings. It is almost like a daily meditation.

Not much to report on this painting, I’m just working from left to right trying to capture accurate drawing, color and value.

On a side note. I’m thinking about removing the subscription emails from my blog and its integration with social media. I’ve realized that this blog is a personal journey. I have had notions of adding in tutorials, how to posts, material lists or anything helpful or informative to other artists but I have just not had the time or motivation to do it. Please comment, either way, responses or lack there of will help me with the decision.

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
