Figure Painting: Session 2, Starting Block-in

I’m starting the block-in on this figure painting now and something tells me that it is going to go much faster than the previous paintings.

I’m thinking because I have a more concrete way of starting now, a clear direction, that this painting should go much smoother. I’m sure that the block-in is going to go well, for some reason, I can see the value transition better with this pose.

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
