Figure Painting: Beginning Painting

So this figure painting is progressing much differently than my previous. I’m doing some research on Rembrandt’s methods and trying to employ some of his techniques.

I figured, why not emulate the best, or at least try to. If anything, trying this will increase my respect for Rembrandt more.

  1. I can see the respect for Rembrandt coming into play, as he didn’t have photos or computers to help display the image… much respect to the Dutch Master…
