Figure Drawing, Instead of Still Life

Originally I planned to do a still life tonight but I have some ideas about what I want to do and I just couldn’t find a subject that I was interested in. So I did figure drawing instead.

I’m so glad that the internet has progressed enough to provide artists like myself with a wealth of things to study and the New Masters Academy site is cheap enough with tons of content to keep me busy for years. So when I can’t think of something to draw or paint, I go there for lots of ideas.

The good thing about paying for a service is you feel like you should use it. Now, I don’t force myself to use the NMA videos or images, honestly their content is so well done that it’s motivating just browsing the content. But, now I don’t have any excuse for not spending at least an hour every day doing some type of artwork when I have a good internet connection.
