All of my figure drawing for the past month has been focused on starting. I feel that the first 5 minutes of a drawing will determine the entirety of the drawing.

If I can get the initial drawing down well in the first 5 to 20 minutes then the rest of the drawing always goes smoothly.

Shorter session today, I didn’t get started till later and by that time my day was almost done and I was tired and losing focus.
