The photograph deadens natural skin colors.

Our skin is full of colors from bright reds to blues and green and unfortunately a lot of the photographs that I work from I did not take myself and the colors are mostly browns and yellow. So to combat this I imagine brighter colors or more saturated colors and improvise. I want to push the colors even further in this stage but for some reason I have trouble using super high chroma colors on the painting even though I know that I can tone them down later.

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
