I finished the rest of the background today and I’m debating if I’m actually done.
I planned to go over the entire painting with glazes to try and push the translucency of the skin, but I’m not sure if I have the energy to continue on this painting. I’m going to be traveling with my dad for the next few days as he is in town so I think I will take that time away from this painting and look up on it with fresh eyes when I return. At that point I will see what more work it needs.
