I spent close to an hour doing some drawing refinement on this new painting.

Erasing on gessoed canvas doesn’t work very well. It doesn’t get rid of the charcoal marks it only lightens them a bit so this drawing refinement looks a bit like a double image. I think I’ll have one more session of drawing refinement before I begin the block-in.
