Storm

I was able to put in a very long art day today and get a lot done including marking the Storm drawing as finished. I’m super happy with this one.

I spent a lot of time today working on a part of the Storm drawing that I ended up erasing. There was too much detail in her shoulder pads and it was distracting.

The difficult part of posting everything is that some days, many more than I would like, I post works that just look terrible. Luckily I’m posting along side a drawing I’m proud of.

Another day of daily art practice. Some days have huge revelations or jumps forward but most are the same diligent and persistent effort.

Another wonderful morning of art on a Sunday, plus I’m extremely excited about the progress I’ve made on the Storm drawing.

I’m excited to begin diving deep into learning by looking at a great artist, pulling apart his/her book and creating my own curriculum from it.

It seems that I’m consistent in forgetting to slow down and consider before working on a drawing.

I’m excited for the next Fandom Fitness drawing. We are back to a fictional character, Storm from Marvel Comics. But I pull from real life sources.
