The first day of work employing what I’ve learned about glazing is a success!
The biggest issue I had previously with glazing was not using the right paints. Yesterday I purchased a set of transparent pigments that are working perfectly. I’m also trying to stay away from white and use true color on this painting letting the white underneath shine through.
I do need to tone down the color though. The top part of the Paper Star is much too gold for what I want. It need to be subtle.

Find more time for art in the day.
In order for me to work on endurance in art making I need to find more time per day.
