I think that Buttercup’s face is working well now after some small changes to her eyes and the values of her face.
There is still a chance that I will return to her portrait and make more adjustments but for now I want to get Westley’s face in order before moving onto less important parts of the drawing. Getting the portraits correct is paramount. Besides, when the portraits are done the rest of the drawing always seems to come together without much effort.
The basic warm-up.
What went well, what was awesome! Celebrate It!
Buttercup’s face is looking much better.
What needs work? What did you learn?
More deep focus on Westley’s face and get its structure and proportions correct.
How am I going to Optimize moving forward?
Tomorrow I’ll try and repeat what I do every day. Set aside enough time for my art and put in as much focus in that time as I can.
