Daily Art #2931

I’m between Fandom Fitness sketches. I just finished Steve Irwin and now I’m researching Rosa Parks.

Before I do a drawing of any heroic figure I like to research the person and get an idea of who they are/were. Rosa Parks was a courageous icon during the Civil Rights Movement and she continues to inspire hope and a better future after he death.

This is going to be a challenging drawing because there are not many images of her. The ones I can get are of very low quality so much of the drawing is going to be added creatively.

While I’m researching her, and don’t have anything to draw yet, I did an extended gesture study today instead.

Extended Gesture Study

My normal daily warm-up.

What went well, what was awesome! Celebrate It!

Tons of energy today and getting a lot done.

What needs work? What did you learn?

Research Rosa Parks and put in the time.

How am I going to Optimize moving forward?

Regardless of the image quality I’m going to work hard to bring Rosa Parks to life in the next drawing.
