Daily Art #2921

A shorter time of drawing this morning so I can start recording my Optimize for Artists class today.

Steve Irwin is going really well. I’ve tried multiple times to start a drawing with planes of value all over the drawing first but that has never seemed to work as well as just going straight for the details like in this one.

I’ll keep trying other methods all the time, continue to learn, but for this drawing I’m going to have fun working it from section to section. Like I’m growing the drawing from one spot outward.

Steve Irwin Drawing

My normal daily warm-up.

What went well, what was awesome! Celebrate It!

Great sleep last night and a focus to get things done!

What needs work? What did you learn?

Finish up my Optimize for artists class recording today and free up more time for art.

How am I going to Optimize moving forward?

I’ll get the recording done today I hope, but for the editing I will leave several days. I know that will take a bunch of time.

I am an Artist and a programmer currently living in the amazing state of Washington. I have a passion for art, but I'm stubborn as hell with it. My day is complete only when I do some piece of art each day, no matter how small. "There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
