Daily Art #2901

I’m excited to say that at this point, the doe is done. I’m not saying I won’t change it in the future but for now I’m happy.

I didn’t understand at first but what the doe really needed was, less. Less wispy tendrils of ghostly essence and more grounded reality with a hint of ethereal presence.

Warm-up

The normal 15 minute warm-up in graphite.

What went well, what was awesome! Celebrate It!

Today may be the biggest day for the drawing of Snape. I feel that I’ve conquered something difficult.

What needs work? What did you learn?

Patience for my art. It takes time to make something I’m proud of.

How am I going to Optimize moving forward?

I have a plan for when I want to finish these Fandom Fitness drawings but from now on I’m going to work hard on understanding that if it takes longer, then that is what it takes. At the end of this project what is most important is that I produce a body of work that I’m proud of.
