I’m feeling a bit of a time crunch today so this post is going to be very short.

Tonight I did some anatomy study with Rey Bustos from New Masters Academy and afterwards I continued with the color bootcamp also at the New Masters Academy.

This second assignment is the hardest so far, her face is so flat and devoid of any large value changes so my painting looks really flat, I think the values are close but I’m not sure… so here is a setup photo with the color removed.

  1. I would imagine that looking at something in color and painting it in black and white would be very difficult, but you seem to do it rather well….
