I was right, after a good night of sleep I was able to make a decision on how to proceed with my Black Panther drawing.
I decided to create this drawing all in graphite because it is so easy to correct. I have an urge to let go of subtle work and get more expressive but I still lack the confidence to go with charcoal out of the gate. If I started with charcoal every block I put down would be committed without change. At some point in the future I will get more bold with my drawing but for now I’ve got time in mind.

Short Drapery Study
Another drapery study from The Natural Way to Draw and this time I switched to charcoal and took more time on the drawing. I’m really glad I did. I’ll continue with charcoal for the other drawings.

Daily Composition and Sketch
Considering I haven’t left my home in two days I really have not composition of figure that I can pull out of my memory so I drew Sullivan my cat and replaced the composition with a study of hands.

What went well, what was awesome! Celebrate It!
I had an awesome long day of art! Plus I was able to make a decision on the Black Panther drawing.
