Lately I have been listening to the Jason Bourne series audio books by Robert Ludlum and tonight I did appropriate portrait study of Matt Damon, who played Jason Bourne in the movies of the series.
The books are well written, but they are almost completely different than the movies. When I was flipping through my Pinterest portrait reference board I found this black and white portrait of Matt Damon and had to draw it while listening to the book.
I’m fairly happy with this drawing. I lost the likeness a bit and the chin is too large but I like how I began to shade in the values with crosshatching.
