We are on a cruise to Alaska but I don’t stop my daily art for this, it’s just another opportunity to draw something new and different, a way to challenge myself.
It’s simple, I just go to a random deck with a nice comfy chair and start drawing something small. The scene is normally super complex but I don’t worry about that. I focus on a small portion like a chair back and draw it accurately, then I move on to the thing next to it. After about 30 minutes I have drawn the whole room and worked a lot on perspective, something I don’t get enough time with.
