I’ve had a long day of working today but not much of it was on creating art but framing it.
After all kinds of effort the two paintings accepted to the Jansen Art Center Fall Juried Exhibit are glued to cradeled panels. I will be delivering these to the art center tomorrow morning.

Here are the links to each work that will be in the show.
The little bit of drawing that I was able to finish today was done in a rush and is definitely not up to standard.
Warm-up and DrawABox exercises
The normal 15 minute warm-up in graphite.

No drawabox.com exercise today. I didn’t have enough time.
Watercolor Head Study
This is a new exercise from The Natural Way to Draw. I was hoping to do a painting that clearly showed each plane of the head but I rushed through it too fast.

Daily Composition and Sketch
At the end of my day I drew a mug on my desk and a woman at the frame shop where I picked up a frame today.

What went well, what was awesome! Celebrate It!
I was able to get my artwork framed today after a long day of working.
What needs work? What did you learn?
Micro wins on all my commitments.
How am I going to Optimize moving forward?
Always keep in mind that consistency is more important that quality.
