At home working on this painting I’m able to focus more than on the fence. Painting in public is fun but it’s distracting.
What went well? Finished and happy with results.
What needs work? More animal paintings to get closer and closer to other artists I look up to that paint amazing animal portraits. Jennifer Gennari and Greg Beecham mainly.
How can I improve? Paint as many animals as I can and don’t get hung up on the type of animal, composition, or what the public will buy. Just get in the reps for now. The other stuff will come with skill.
