I look for images on Pinterest, Unsplash or Pexels and even though many of these images do not have any copyright to them I make my own adjustments. It’s not too hard actually, every image can be improve in some way. “Improved” being a very subjective term.
Normally I just lay the rule of thirds over the image and begin moving things around. For this image I lowered the horizon line, adding a lot more sky, adjusted the tree line and added a chimp swinging from the tree.
