There was a part of the painting yesterday that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was broken color, similar to how Van Gogh would do it. Even another artist at the fence commented on it. I figured I would repeat that method today but over the entire painting.
I prepared my surroundings for the session by putting on some headphones and blotting out as much of what was around me as possible. With that I easily dropped into the flow state, focused and pushed myself to work fast and energetically.
I’m very happy with the result.
