3864: The Arc Toward the Sun

Back to the smaller size and this time the canvas has been gessoed 4 or 5 times with sanding in between and I waited for each thin coat to dry for over an hour. This is going to be a difficult painting because all the colors are of very high saturation and there are high contrast elements right next to darker ones. I need to keep my mixtures clean and leave time in between for drying.
