3861: The Meeting Day 2

The biggest issue I have with this painting is not the oil painting but the gesso. I really messed up putting it down and it has all kinds of brush texture in it. Next painting I’m going to work hard, take my time, and get the surface flat and even. Also, painting the subtle nature of clouds is hard, I really need to observe.
