I’m trying a new medium today and it will either be awesome or kill this painting.
I use all Gamblin paints and mediums and considering I’m working in a very small room I make sure that I don’t use ANY solvents and that my mediums don’t have any solvents. I normally use the solvent free gel because it sticks to my vertical palette. But today I’m trying this solvent free liquid medium that is super thick. It’s still fluid so it won’t stay on my palette but it does lay on the painting thickly.
So far it’s increasing the transparency I want. As long as it doesn’t drip down the canvas tonight while I sleep it should be wonderful.
