I went a bit crazy today on the Vulnerability Two painting and I’m loving it!
I’m super inspired by the works from Robert Liberace and Ann Gale.
I love how these painting have a definite form in the figure. I can feel their shape in space. But their all made up of a mass of strokes without any hard edges.
I thought I was going crazy with my painting but looking at Ann Gale and Robert Liberace I see that I have many more levels of crazy that I can go.
I’m going to “steal” their influence and translate it through my own voice. There is something about the freedom with the brush here that excites me immensely.
I do want this painting to dry first before I continue on with it and considering how much paint I piled on to it, that is going to take a while. Tomorrow I’m going to start a new painting.
Super fun day of painting! I didn’t want to stop!
