I didn’t have as much time as I would like on painting today but I did make progress.
When I stained the canvas I had some issues mixing up the acrylic paint thin enough so it didn’t completely cover the drawing. Next time it may be better to stain the canvas first the color I wan then begin the drawing on top.
The next step was to establish the darkest parts of the painting and fill in some of those shadow areas. Then I established the lightest light and filled in some of those areas.
I mostly worked on the background so I worked quickly. The details in the background doesn’t matter as much as everything else so it can be very loose now and cleaned up later. Tomorrow I will begin painting Winnie’s face, but for this I will take my time.
Very effective day and a great Optimize Creators Meeting.
